New Halloween Party collection!
I really like the atmosphere around Halloween, the slightly gothic and quirky side, the general aesthetic so I wanted to create a collection that was a bit funny, quirky, using some codes from this period.
Do you like the ghost dog or the Potter fox?
I read a lot of stories about vampires, monsters of all kinds, especially in fantasy books so it's really a theme that inspires me but I'm starting slowly this year, we'll see next year if I dare slightly scarier visuals.
My reading at the moment: volume 1 of Crescent City by Sarah J Maas, House of Earth and Blood.
This is the second time I've read this book. I read it in English (on my tablet because it's a big pad and I don't really like big paper books from a comfort point of view). I'm rereading it because I would like to move on to volume 2 and as I loved the first volume I read it very quickly (to find out what happens next) and as a result I savor it much more in this second reading and it gives me all the story in place. It's a story with humans, witches, fae, werewolves, vampires and angels. I also forget a seafaring people. In short, everything I like.
Let's get back to the Halloween collections. It’s difficult to fit all these characters and these worlds into a small glass cabochon. This is the limit of my work, I have to simplify so that it is clearly visible.
You will never see a spider in my creations because I have always been completely arachnophobic. I don't want them any harm, but I don't want them in my house. I'm not much of a skeleton person either, but I love ghosts, vampires, witches, werewolves and fairies. Not forgetting the pumpkins.
