Glenmore sweater knitting pattern by Ysolda Teague

The designer : Ysolda Teague is one of the best-known knitting designers, notably with her flagship model, the Ishbel shawl. She offers us original models with attention to detail and a lot of creativity in construction and knitting techniques.

The model : an oversized textured sweater! the upper body is knitted flat then from the armholes, the back and front are knitted in the round.

The pattern: the original pattern in English and its translation into French (no download possible), are printed on bristol paper by me.

Equipment

circular needle 5.5mm and 6.5mm, and your favorite method for knitting small diameters.

Sample 10cm by 10cm : 13 stitches over 20 rows in fancy stitch in the round.

Bulky yarn

De Rerum Natura Cyrano (100% Merino, 164 yds / 150m, 100g) Genet (long sweater) and Sel (short sweater).

Please note, Ysolda specifies that Cyrano yarn is classified among Aran yarns, but it has rather a bulky sample.
